WHITETAIL DEER
Rancho Tres Hijos offers both high & low-fence fence trophy whitetail hunting opportunities in the famed South Texas Brush Country. RTH consists of approximately 2,500 high fenced acres under intensive wildlife management regularly rendering bucks scoring over 150 B&C, as well as 700 acres of low fenced country offering free roam native Texas deer hunting. The native browse found on the ranch boasts a natural form of crude protein ranging from 12-22%. These brush species, accompanied with supplemental protein feed, ensures that the white tailed deer on Rancho Tres Hijos are supplied with adequate protein and minerals to grow antlers of superb quality, as well as promote healthy fawns throughout the summer months.
All high fenced Trophy hunts are guided, whereas, low fence hunts can be either guided or non-guided, depending on the hunter’s preference. Day & package hunts are both offered.
Hunter check in is between 12:00 PM-2:00 PM the day of arrival to allow for mandatory range time before heading out into the field. Check out time is 11:00 AM of the departing date of the hunt.
**Non hunters are an additional $250.00 per non hunter.
**Archery is only permitted on low-fence hunts**
